If you happen to have what is considered normal skin, cheers! You have a skin type that most of the population has a difficult time achieving. If your T-zone is oily and you have dry cheeks, or the seasons affect your skin, resulting in oilier skin during the summertime and dryer skin during winter months, you are still thought to have “normal skin.” However, even though your skin is regular, you still need to take the appropriate measures to maintain healthy skin. The following are some tips for keeping up and maintaining your normal skin.
Basic care includes washing your face twice a day; one time in the morning and one time before you go to sleep. Use a mild cleanser that won’t cause skin irritation. Toners are more of an optional product for your skin; they are refreshing, though not necessary. Stay away from toners with alcohol in them, as they will dry your skin out. Using a moisturizer will help to hydrate your skin. It is best to moisturize with a product that contains sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher in it.
Using a weekly mask will help your skin cope with everyday surroundings, whether you live where it is very human or dry, or an area that is high in pollution. You should also exfoliate 2 times a week. This will get rid of any dead skin cells you have on your surface layer and allow your skin to breathe. Lastly, be sure to drink lots of water to hydrate your body and eat nutritious foods.

Signs of Normal Skin Type
Normal skin is taut but not too tight, and is firm to the feel. It does not put out an excessive amount of oil, is easy to maintain, and pores are very small. It is well-hydrated, gentle, even and relatively thin. The color is dependent on the amount of melanin present in the skin and the thickness of the epidermis.
It is not advised to use skincare products if you have normal skin. Any product that offers any type of skin recovery or regeneration should not be used – it may be possible to alter your skin’s healthy, natural functions. Anyone with normal skin should protect it.
Taking Care of Normal Skin On Babies
Just because someone has normal skin does not suggest that it needs to be left alone. Creams high in UV screens and blockers are important to use on children until they reach the age the age of three. After giving your child a bath, you should treat them with a children’s protective cosmetic. During wintertime, you should protect your child’s skin from frost with a special cream. We also recommend that you get your baby used to wearing a protective chapstick or lip balm.
